Heat-Shrinkable Wrapping Tape

Product Introduction

This heat-shrinkable wrapping tape is designed for corrosion protection and insulation of buried or above-ground steel pipelines. It is primarily used for protecting pipe fittings like elbows, tees, and insulated flanges, as well as repairing damaged pipeline coatings. The tape can also be applied to entire pipelines for complete corrosion protection.

Composed of radiation-crosslinked polyolefin backing and a special hot-melt adhesive layer, the tape forms a tight, protective seal when heated during installation. As the material shrinks radially, the melted adhesive creates a strong bond with the pipe surface.
